Any of These Three the 42 inch plasma HDTV You're Looking For?

42 inch plasma HDTV is a common-sized high definition screen that most consumers nowadays look for. While the recent preference has been for thinner and lighter HDTVs, nothing can still beat the need for a high quality picture, including details like native resolution, contrast ratio, standard definition, and video processor.

With this in mind, Samsung is one of today’s most popular 42 or higher plasma HDTV brands with models like the Samsung PN42B450, Samsung HPT4254, and Samsung PN42A450.

First, the Samsung PN42B450, it has a 720p resolution. It features 2 component and 1 composite video input, 2 10W bottom speakers, and SRS TruSurround high definition surround sound. The Mega dynamnic contrast ratio delivers an absolutely true-to-life picture with high contrast.

It can even work with A/V compatible devices like Blu-Ray. The main complaint with this model has been intermittent sound problems like an uncontrollable echo plaguing some channels. However, there is a work around with a complete factory reset.

Next, the Samsung HPT4254 is another 42 inch plasma HDTV with 720p resolution that features new DNIe enhancement technology to bring an incomparable combination of brightness, contrast, and clear picture quality.

Plasma sets such as this deliver stunning video quality with reduced motion blur, brilliant colors, and even a broader viewing angle to boot. Are there any cons? We are hard pressed to find one but you do need to upgrade to an HD capable set-top box from a standard set-top box to view its full potential.

Finally, the Samsung PN42A450 breaks through at 720p resolution, 100,000 to 1 dynamic contrast ratio, and 18-bi Natural True Color processing.

The 175 degree viewing angle makes it perfect for home theater set-ups while 3D high definition capability makes it ready for 3D games, movies, and other 3D programming. What’s more, we loved the proprietary FilterBright anti-glare filter that increased contrast in brightly lit rooms even during the day. One thing to watch out for though is stuck pixels and posterization that will require a complete replacement.
