A Cheap Flat Panel Monitor -The Flat Panel Vizio TV. Should You Buy it?

It is so close to the Vizio GV42 HDTV that the Vizio GV42L HDTV is almost a clone of the later model. The styling on the newer model is a bit more stylish and cost a little more. The extra features offered by the GV42L will satisfy most consumers.

Image Does Not Lose Quality

The picture difference between the GV42 and the GV42L are identical in comparison. Black level performance and color accuracy provide a quality picture with a slight shadow detail flaw. Limitations exist by the lack of dark color scene performance levels, the shadow limits are by no means top quality. Controls need to be set for different viewings.

The Vizio GV42L HDTV

Three-color temperature presets are provided as well as a fourth mode that allows you adjust red, blue and green. The backlight has an adjustable control, which allows you to adjust the lamp intensity up or down. The controls are global and you are not able to save them individually.

This cheap flat panel monitor -the flat panel Vizio TV , has many adjustments and features including PIP with a side-by-side feature, a freeze mode, aspect ratio controls, three for high definition and four for standard definition. The GV42L HDTV has plenty of input and output jacks for hooking up everything you need right from the start. Just because it’s a cheap flat panel monitor -the flat panel Vizio TV does not have loss of quality and performance.

Conclusion :The inexpensive price for a 42-inch TV with decent black level performance, plenty of picture controls and a good amount of input/output controls leave the consumer with a very good TV. The detachable speaker feature allows for placement anywhere you choose. The GV42L is not as compact as most 42-inch TVs and it does have some shadow flaw but the LCD TV provides a quality picture.

This cheap flat panel monitor -the flat panel Vizio TV , is affordable and has a performance rating as high as other brand names. There are better LCD TV’s available for a higher price and better features, but if sophisticated technology is not an issue, the GV42L will do just fine.
