Picture performance is rated higher over last year’s model in quality and sharpness. Its resolution of 1.366x768, keeps Panasonic in competition with the other brand name makers. PIP is a desirable feature offered but state of the art features are non-existent on the TH-50PH9UK.

In order to watch HDTV or standard TV you will need an additional external source (there’s no tuner with this HDTV). The picture quality remains sharp with the external hook up.
